We have a small but dedicated team of experienced and friendly individuals, who strive to support our beneficiaries, and reach those in the industry who may need our support.
Helen Sanson
Chief Executive Officer and Company Secretary
Helen champions the Charity to drive awareness of the organisation and its charitable capabilities. She is responsible for devising key objectives and business strategies, making recommendations to, and implementing decisions made by our Board.
Vicky Mirfin
Director of Welfare and Grants
Vicky is responsible for all aspects of the Charity’s welfare and charitable grants services. She leads the Welfare and Grants team to ensure that the Charity’s services remain effective, compassionate, and accessible, and evolving with the needs of those we support.
Phyllis Stanton
Accountant
Phyllis is responsible for the finance function of the charity, including the preparation of management information and year-end accounts. She is also responsible for the Charity’s IT.
Nathan Killbery
Senior Grants and Services Caseworker
Nathan assesses beneficiary applications and makes grant recommendations. He is also responsible for developing and managing partnerships, and our network of volunteer visitors.
Jane Nicholson
Welfare Adviser
Jane is responsible for assessing applications and making recommendations relating to charitable payments to beneficiaries. She is also an adviser on statutory benefit entitlements.
Lauryn
Grants Administrator
Lauryn is the first point of call for new applicants and helps them provide what is needed for the Charity to assess eligibility and appropriate help.
Diane Bradley
Accounts Administrative Assistant
Diane administers our payments and donations, in addition to general office duties.
Jackie Rouse
Welfare Administrative Assistant
Jackie’s role provides support to the welfare team, and includes database management, and general office administration duties.
Victoria Sutton
Marketing and Communications Manager
Victoria is the first point of contact for volunteers, employers, trade press and membership bodies wanting to support the Charity and raise awareness with their stakeholders.
Volunteers
The Charity relies heavily on its dedicated team of volunteers across the UK and Ireland who sit on our Board and Committees, visit beneficiaries and undertake marketing and fundraising locally.
