Working with
employers
Even with the support of their employer, people can still face hardship and other challenges.
This is where we can help. The Insurance Charity can complement the support you’re already providing, and work alongside you as a trusted partner.
Employers don’t have to register or pay anything to work with us. And you don’t need to get involved in the application process either (we liaise directly with beneficiaries in total confidence). All you need to do is signpost your people to us and raise awareness of our work within your own organisation.
We want to make sure that all of your employees, whatever their role, know there’s help available if/when they need it.

How you can get involved

Raising awareness with employees
- Invite us to deliver a presentation to your employees.
- Share our short promotional video at meetings and events.
- Order free materials to issue to employees, e.g., in induction sessions and wellbeing days.

- Include a short article about us in your employee comms and on your intranet/wellbeing/HR platforms.

Events and meetings
- Participate in our annual awareness campaign.
- Hold an event to fundraise for us.
- Take part in our events, like golf days, ad-hoc training and information sessions.
- Offer sponsorship or prizes to support our events programme.

With your help, we can reach more people and offer our support. Here’s how you can spread the word:
- Tell other people about The Insurance Charity, like HR professionals, union representatives, EAPs, internal communications teams, mental health and wellbeing representatives, pensioner networks and line managers.
- Display information about The Insurance Charity in communal areas like gyms, canteens, and kitchens.
- Talk about our work in employee meetings and newsletters.
- Share our posts/information on your social media pages, website and intranet.
