Our Grants Committee plays a vital role in supporting the mission of The Insurance Charity by considering applications for financial assistance from current and former insurance employees, and their dependants, who are experiencing hardship due to misfortune.
The Committee comprises up to 13 individuals drawn from across the insurance profession who bring diverse experience, insight, and compassion to the decision-making process.
Together, they assess applications and determine appropriate levels of support to improve the wellbeing and circumstances of beneficiaries. They help to set grant-making policy, provide input to new programme development, and make recommendations to the main Board of Trustees.
We are looking for new members to join this committee and welcome applications from across the industry.
